Measurements: LENGTHS from 3 3/4" to 4 3/4" -
Each dirk design is a characteristic combination of agates such as bloodstone and blue lace, etc. and semi precious gemstones such as citrine and amethyst
Also, each piece is hand engraved with delicate linear designs.
The largest brooch is topped with the symbol of Scotland: the Scottish thistle.
Take a close look at photo #3 to see the marks indicating silver, date, and country of origin.
In fine condition...
Measurements: LENGTH: 5 1/4" - OWL HEAD: 1/2" x 1/2"
Beautifully three dimensional, highly detailed and double sided hatpin in the shape of an owl head. The shorter pin stem length was used for a beret or a cloche, but really works perfectly for any size hat...
Measurements: Length of Chain from round amethyst crystal: 7.5" - Total length of Necklace from clasp: 9.5" - Interior circumference of chain from clasp to round amethyst crystal: 15" - Round amethyst crystal: 7mm
Gorgeous true amethyst pendant necklace with sterling silver chain and sterling pendant which holds two amethyst thistles. Signed C H for Charles Horner and hallmarked - see photo #3 - Chester, England - 1905.
Measurements: WEIGHT: 1.5 troy oz. - 3.25" long including both hooks x 2.25" greatest width.
Worn with the long "tongue" hung over a belt or waistband. The smaller open hook would hold one chatelaine object - my first thought was a chatelaine purse or a ring of housekeeping keys.
In very good condition with strong three dimensional detail - somewhat Medieval in design.
Measurements: 2" diameter with a domed profile of 5/8" set into a silver full cup bezel with original "c" clasp. Pin stem appears to either have been replaced or re-soldered.
A gorgeous portrait of a wealthy woman of the court or a courtesan wearing an ornate kimono covered in gold moriage representing threads of gold. The hair ornaments are also golden.
Beautiful life like detail.
The only damage I see is a bit of moriage bead work missing from the frame surround.
Measurements: 18" long excluding the watch swivel 8.7 grams of sterling silver
The price of $215 is for the chain ONLY; not the heart which is listed separately in my catalog.
This is an exquisite chain with a number of delicate, very detailed design elements.
The six center links are each set with a marcasite.
I am dating this chain to the late 1900's.
