Florentine-born Graziella Laffi has been referred to as the WILLIAM SPRATLING of Peru. She died in 2009.

This piece is one of the largest I have seen by Laffi - beautifully designed around the stylized shape of a bird (parrot??) enameled with lapis and malachite colors. The eye is black enamel...

Measurements: Total earring length from wire: 1 3/4" - Drop only: 1 1/8" - WEIGHT: 3/8 oz.

A estate purchase from the 1980's in excellent (and very sparkly) condition - no damages, repairs and with original stones.

Marked "KC"

The earrings are not marked silver, but test as silver (???). Could be very heavy silver plating. The metal polishes beautifully.

Nice swaying movement and excellent length. Perfect wedding or party accessory.

Measurements: LENGTH: 3 1/4" - WIDTH: 1"

Signed by fine art designer, Bill Schiffer, and dated 1989.

Although this pair of chandelier style earrings is long and very dramatic, they are made of a lightweight black resin and so are easy to wear all day and late into the evening.

This is a retired design incorporating silvery drops and fully faceted rosy rhinestones.

Original price: $595.00!

$45.00

Measurements:

4 1/2" tall with an oval base of 1 5/8" wide x 3 1/8" ** Note that the top of the piece is slightly angled.

Each round opening is 1 1/4" diameter.

I believe that this piece is Scandinavian though the sticker is missing from the bottom. The round "shadow" of the sticker is just visible.

When I purchased this piece, it was being used for pens and pencils...
