Estate purchase dating to the 1960's. The silver shows some surface abrasion due to age and long use. A jeweler could easily polish the abrasions out. p>Signed "Cartier Sterling 925 Italy" - totally elegant and so much nicer than hunting for a scrap of paper or a Post It.
The wooden base is of fine rosewood.
As noted in the title, the notepad is meant to be used and replaced...

These hand painted doors came from the attic of a Maine estate. The late owner was a devoted traveler and shopper. The doors (and matching painted wall panel listed last week) were stored in the attic since the late 1930's.
The country of origin is France, though the panel and doors were shipped to America - possibly never installed into any of the homes which were part of the estate...

Perfect size, perfect condition, clearly marked "Sterling" (not 925 which helps identify the coffee pot as vintage). Also marked "C W" but the only C W manufacturer I could find was for several English silver companies and there are no hallmarks on this little coffee pot. c. 1930's or earlier.
The hinged lid opens and closes perfectly. Nice beadwork and roping detail.

Miniature flower filled black marble urn. The flowers are enameled tin mounted on slim green wire stems which can be CAREFULLY manipulated to change the floral arrangement.

This is a walrus ivory miniature decoy carving signed by Ted Mayac, Jr. dating to the 1970's. Ted Mayac, Jr. is a well known Alaskan Eskimo (Inupiat) carver, as was his father, Ted Mayac, Sr.
