Skillfully carved with fine detail and delicate imagery. Warm ivory color which will turn more "buttery" with age.
Carved from pre ban elephant ivory, showing two 3/4 profiles of identical female figures with "corn row" style hair.
Ivory striations clearly visible.
Very fine condition - without cracks, chips, or hairlines.

As the photographs show, the beads are strung on coiled "memory" wire. This construction allows the necklace to adjust to fit almost any size neck comfortably without pinching.
