I am dating this AMAZING necklace to the 1960's-1970's when the original owner was traveling the world as an actress with a touring company.
All of the gold is marked as 18kt.
The highly detailed and very three dimensional pendant design is of a pharoah, four hieroglyphic tablets, winged solar disc, sceptres, ankh, and "ba" or the symbols of the dead pharoah...

Measurements: 1 1/4" long x 1/2" at the widest point with a pair of 3/16" round, medium blue sapphires. Both the gold and sapphires have been tested and are guaranteed as described.
Dating to the 1940's, the design is that of an asymmetric bow of golden ribbon held in place by a full cut, faceted sapphire.
No damages to the gold or sapphires. The only "damage" is that soft solder was used to attach the screw back findings - not obvious when viewed from the front.

This style of clip is referred to as a fur clip because of a pair of needle sharp prongs held closed with a single safety catch. There is also a finding on the back of the clip which could be used to modify the clip into a pendant.
Cartier produced a similar clip in the 1940's-1950's. This is an exact copy - as beautiful as the original.
