This document, referred to as a "quit claim" is a bill of sale for land in Boston, sold to Dr. Jonathan Mountfort. It is possible that the building on the land was an apothecary or that the term apothecary refers to the profession of Dr. Mountfort...

A beautiful spectrum of translucent browns, creams and grays with black.
A bit of invisible roughness to the right "arm" corner and a scratch which is almost invisible when worn, but was photographed under unnaturally strong light to show the scratch.

This brooch dates to the late 19th century as shown by the stem which extends beyond the body of the piece and the open "C" catch (which may be a replacement for an earlier "C" catch.)
The design consists of 4 oval faceted citrines (7mm x 10mm) and one central oval citrine (13mm x 18mm)...

This is a charming bit of Atlantic City, New Jersey memorabilia. From the phone number, I am dating this little note pad to the late 1930's. Standard Distributing Co. still exists, but whether it is the same company which was once located in Atlantic City - who knows?

According to the estate, this was a souvenir of a trip to Italy back in the late 1950's.
Made of punched brass plated metal backed with black glove leather - in the form of a treasure chest.
The sewing accessories within are a thimble, tiny spool with 2 colors of thread, a needle and safety pin.
No damages. Only the red thread appears to have been used.

Dating to the late 1950's -1960's. Mint condition with no repairs or replaced stones. The box has a tight closure and is original to the set.
Earrings are screw backs.
A really nice "fancy dress" set of emerald green faceted rhinestones and white rhinestones in gold tone metal settings. The gold tone plating is in excellent condition.
Each piece is signed "Coro."

Unique "off center" design with three dimensional floral element.
Originally screw back earrings, they were converted to pierced at some point in their history.
The flowers are centered with very sparkly kelly green crystals. The top stones are the same color, but unfaceted.
The metal of the earrings is well patinated brass.
Great movement and sway.
No damages or repairs except for the clip conversion.
