Unique "off center" design with three dimensional floral element.
Originally screw back earrings, they were converted to pierced at some point in their history.
The flowers are centered with very sparkly kelly green crystals. The top stones are the same color, but unfaceted.
The metal of the earrings is well patinated brass.

Hand painted and gilded on all sides with different scenes from 19th century China. This decorative box has a bit of everything: gorgeous kimonos, tea houses, fierce horses and horsemen....
With original escutcheon plate, but no key.
Also with original surface - some of the lacquer has been scuffed over the years, but all of the color and design is clear and bright.

The design of the charm is a combination of a pair of 3 dimensional lovebirds sitting on a branch, a single flower and the words: "A Date to Remember" in a circular cartouche. Garnet is the birthstone for January.

The metal of this working tape measure is gold plated base metal which was lacquered. Some of the lacquer has worn away showing the bright gilt original surface. I have not tried to remove the lacquer or polished the metal...
