This is an elegant design for a chamber stick - reflecting the classic designs of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
The metals used are brass and copper. The handle is made of wood, held in place with copper bands and a brass connector.
The only damage I see is to the inside rim of the candle holder where there are minor crimps as though someone tried to dig the candle stub out - unnecessary since the holder and attached bobesche lift off to show the interior spring "push up."
No maker's mark that I could find, but it appears to be a Christopher Dresser design.
****Note: While not considered a damage, the metal has been lacquered - not recently.
