A "sweetheart" locket showing a handsome Victorian couple with lightly tinted rosy cheeks. She is wearing a cameo; he is wearing an amazing bow tie? with stickpin. There appears to have been a third woman (notice the gloved hand!) who didn't make the final portrait.

The back of the case shows silver under the gold vermeil. I believe that the wear to the back of the case was created as people tried to open the back - which does not open.

Please note that one bezel which would surround the female portrait is missing.
