Measurements: 3/4" DIAMETER not including the hanger - HANGER mechanism adds 1/4" height - THICKNESS of the double sided intaglio: 3/8" This very detailed and finely carved intaglio shows the head and, I believe, riding crop of an Edwardian jockey - a most unusual subject for an intaglio watch fob. The fob has two sides: one of carnelian and one of onyx - both carved. The metal surround is gold filled which will polish beautifully. The hanger mechanism is also unusual: soldered individual circular links. Bale and jump ring appear to be original. No damages or repairs. |
