The form of the comb is very Art Nouveau - gently undulating curves of true tortoise topped by a 14 karat gold (tested and guaranteed) ribbon echoing those same curves then ornamented with a beaded edge and two pairs of leaves centered by two cultured pearls.

All original. No damages or repairs except for the very tips of the comb tines which are irregularly rounded due to over one hundred years of usage.
