Measurements: 3" long when closed x 7/8" diameter

This is a well marked Unger Brothers piece. I have been using it to house my lipstick, but I am not sure what the original use was, although I was told recently that the case was used to hold hairpins.

While the piece is designed with the traditional Unger Brothers nouveau style filigree, the silver is very thick and strong. The silver is unbroken and very usable.

On the bottom of the case, there are Edwardian style engraved initials -- worn and somewhat illegible.
