Measuring 2 1/4" in diameter with a total depth of 1/4", this is a wonderful example of the lush 1930's style of design. The compact is made of brass with rhinestone gems. It is without repairs or replacement stones. The design is that of an urn with floral arrangement. Stems are created by using the art of intaglio carving. The only damages are a dimple on the back of the compact and very light surface abrasions consistent with age and use. |
