Measurement: .75" diameter This type of brooch was sold on board the Cunard luxury ocean liners or in gift shops at embarkation locations. The Scythia was launched in 1921 as a luxury liner designed specifically to appeal to the American tourist trade. She was used for troops and war bride transport during WWII and was retired in 1951. |
