Set with four oval pieces of whitish iridescent art glass, these two-sided cuff links have secure sterling silver bezels and removable bridges. One bezel has a small nick (see Photo 3) that doesn’t affect the cabochon. The cabochons have some interior imperfections. They are marked sterling on the backs, and measure 1/2 inch in diameter.

Here is a sophisticated sterling silver bracelet of a classically mod, late-1960s geometric design. This sterling silver pendant features a ‘space age’ design with a center amethyst cabochon. The surface is textured and oxidized for a whitish patina; there are a few tiny spots of oxidation. The amethyst is securely prong set. The back of the pendant and the bale exhibit a 925 in a cartouche with the words ‘Industria Argentina,’ which roughly translated means Made in Argentina. These late arts and crafts sterling silver earrings are formed as oak leaves with a ‘berry’ at the base. They were made by Albino Manca (1896-1976), who was an Italian sculptor and metalsmith who lived and worked in both Italy and New York. (There is a statue by him in New York’s Battery Park). Decorated with white enameling enhanced with geometrical designs, these sterling silver gilt cuff links are marked Norne for the Sandefjord, Norway, workshop of Aksel Holmsen. A curved bridge bar securely connects each side. The enamel shows no loss or scratches; there are some stubborn areas of tarnish along the edges of the silver. This unusual ring was made by ORNO, which, according to an Internet source, was a post-war cooperative of jewelry designers in Warsaw, Poland. It is composed of a polished agate cabochon mounted in a dome that is decorated with embossed Egyptian hieroglyphics. It bears the Polish marks for .800 silver and the assay mark for Warsaw, 1963-1986. It is a size 7 3/4.
