A nicely carved cameo from a single piece of banded carnelian is set in a substantial multi-prong mount, with a band measuring about 3/8 inch wide at the shoulder. The ring (band and mounting) tests definitely for a high silver content, perhaps .900. It is handmade, probably from the 1950s; the mounting was likely constructed for added security due to the size of the stone...

This unmarked sterling silver pin, formed as an abstract star, exemplifies the spare yet dynamic designs that characterize much of Ed Weiner’s early handwrought work. This one is unsigned (as most of his star pins are), and measures 3 inches long by 2 inches at its widest point. It is secured by a rollover clasp that is original to the piece and in good working order. The surface is a bit tarnished, but shows no signs of wear or damage. Weight: 10.7 grams

These delicate-looking, lacy links are actually form quite a substantial chain necklace. The links have a clever twist, but still lie nicely when worn. A jump ring at the end bears largely illegible marks, but one appears to have a European shape. The chain tests strongly for silver, with a content of at least .800. The spring-ring clasp may have been added later. The chain measures 24 inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 27.3 grams

A beautifully executed pin that features a bezel-mounted oval chrysoprase surrounded by a layer of leafy flowers and berries. This cast layer is applied to a serpentine wirework frame reminiscent of late arts and crafts design. The roughness of the back of the pin is quite a contrast to the highly detailed work of the front; there appears to be a coppery sheen possibly attributable to the solder...
