A studio piece made of brass wire manipulated into an abstract form. It features a large, faceted citrine in an applied bezel mount; two large prongs secure each end. There appears to be no adhesive, but the stone is very secure and exhibits no scratching or other wear. The rollover clasp may be a replacement. The pin measures 3 inches by 3 inches at its longest and widest points. The citrine measures 1 1/8 inches long by 7/8 inch wide by a little over ½ inch deep.

Cast bracelet of white metal or pewter, each panel formed as a bird in the manner of pre-Columbian Peru. The bracelet has a secure fold-over clasp that bears the Coro winged horse mark. Each link is connected by a curled bar of metal, none of which show any signs of stress; the bracelet appears to have been hardly worn. It also has a safety chain with clasp. The bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches long by ¾ inch wide.

Wide copper band is decorated with an applied brass pre-Columbian-style creature. It is inset with small pieces of abalone. On one side is a discolored area, of about ½ inch square, left from an old label. As the discoloration is on the side, it is not obvious when the cuff is worn. The bracelet measures 2 ½ inches at its widest part and 2 ½ inches across the opening. It has a 7 ½-inch internal circumference.

Formed as bird heads, possibly kingfishers or herons. They are of hollow construction, with a molded piece of copper fused to a sterling silver backing. One bird head has a 3/16-inch-long separation between the two layers along the side. It is surrounded by a darkened area, but the metal appears stable. (See photo 6.) The pin backs have secure C-clasps. The backs exhibit cryptic marks that appear to be portions of the word ‘Mexico.’ Each pin measures 1 ¼ inches by 1 ¼ inches.

Composed of 10 horizontally-scored panels. Each is securely connected by interlocking rings that give the bracelet flexibility as well as a nice textural contrast with the panels. The bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches long by 1 inch wide.

Bears some wear but the copper exhibits a rich patina; the tail and fins are nicely detailed and enhanced by oxidation. The rollover clasp is production-issue, and bears a patent number that could not be accessed (206696); the Rebajes mark is partially obscured by the clasp. The pin measures 2 ½ inches by 2 inches.

Composed of looped copper strands. The hinge is tight and in good working order. The bracelet opening measures 2 1/8 inches across, with a 6 ½-inch inner circumference. It measures 1 ½ inches wide at the terminals.

A hand-constructed pendant of wound thick wire around a square piece of polished spectrolite. The stone has a lovely iridescence, and internal yellowish bands. The pendant is permanently attached to a thick chain. The pendant bears the impressed mark of Walter Arnesen, Copenhagen (1968-1973). The necklace measures 15 inches long, with the chain doubled.

Rosette-shaped, with extensive white metal wirework on the front. There is a secure C-clasp on the back, as well as a hinged bale for wear as a pendant. The piece is probably Chinese. It is marked Hand Made on the back and measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Weight: 25.6 grams

A dramatic, hinged, highly oxidized copper cuff decorated with applied copper and brass wire for an ethnic Mexican look. Cylindrical pieces of a green stone, possibly chrysoprase, are riveted to the sides; three of the stones bear tiny chips to the edge. The tube closure takes some practice, but is very secure; the rod, made of doubled brass wire, is a bit crooked, but still works well. The cuff is 2 1/8 inches wide and has an inner circumference of about 6 ¾ inches.

A studio piece of abstract-form links, each link of slightly different design, with a secure S-hook closure. The hook is marked with the unidentified maker’s mark of CEB. It measures 7 ½ inches long.

Composed of yellow metal and a faceted blue glass stone, it bears the mark of R.F. Simmons of Attleboro, MA. The hinge is in good working order, and the clasp has a modified tube design secured by a fold-over closure. The bracelet has an internal circumference of about 7 inches.
