The anchor bars are marked sterling and bear a patent number for a 1948 hinge design; there is no maker’s mark. The panels measure a little over 1 inch by ½ inch. Weight: 17.5 grams total

A streamlined, classic design of an oval amber mounted in a bezel setting. The cuff links appear hardly worn; the amber exhibits no scratches or other signs of wear. The anchor buttons are undecorated silver; the hinge is in good working order and the bridge bars are secure. They are marked 835 for silver content, with an unidentified maker’s mark of a stylized fish. The amber buttons measure ¾ inch by 5/16 inch.

Decorated with applied abstract elements depicting a plant under the sun and clouds, on a textured surface. The clip has retained its flexibility and shows no metal stress. The back is discolored from old adhesives that have been cleaned off. The back is marked sterling with a capital B, probably a maker’s mark. It may have been gilded. The clip measures 7/8 inch long by ¾ inch wide. Weight: 13.4 grams
