|This modernist chain necklace was designed by O.P. Orlandini for the firm of Uno A Erre, of Arrezzo, Italy. It has an organic look resulting from small groups of short, rounded silver bars gathered around a small piece of red coral. They are attached to longer bars linked together to form a chain. The finish is quite bright, perhaps due to an application of lacquer. The chain has a secure spring-ring clasp marked sterling; the makerís and designerís marks are on a flattened panel linked to the jump ring. The necklace measures a total of 33 1/2 inches long; it can be wound around the neck for a double strand. Gross weight: 43.7 grams|
