| Nicely designed necklace of linked stylized leaves, each with a tiny applied bead. Modified hook closure is original, cleverly hidden and very secure; all connecting rings between the leaves are soldered closed. The necklace bears the mark of Ateljé Stigbert, a Stockholm workshop started in the early 1940s by metalsmith Stig Engelbert, who died in 1962, according to an online source. It also has an impressed leaf mark, as well as marks for sterling and Sweden. The necklace exhibits a soft patina, with some areas of tarnish. It measures about 16 3/4 inches long by a little over ˝ inch wide. Weight: 46.5 grams | ||
