| Rectangular panels of mother-of-pearl, vertically incised, set in 9-kt. gold frames fused to sterling silver backings. Each button measures ½ inch long by 5/16 inch wide. The chains are securely attached, and neither the chains nor other attachments show any stress or wear. The cuff links are lightweight, but are sturdily made. They bear marks for sterling and 9-kt gold (the gold marks, which read ‘9 ct,’ are substantially worn), as well as the marks for Henry Griffith & Son, Birmingham, England. | ||
