| Circa mid 19c, late Edo - beginning of Meiji Era. A rare Yuzen cotton kimono of typical construction, for a young unmarried woman, with auspicious designs of pine, plum and bamboo, and mons, with a background of light violet, and dyeing in black and white. The style suggests an origin from the Kagoshima region of southern Kyushu, appropriate for a young women aged 12 or 13. Very good condition, fading, minimal staining, no holes or tears. 40" x 54", 100cm x 135 cm. | ||
