Details: An attractive and interesting example of a 2nd-3rd century Gandharan frieze. Expressively carved form grey schist with nobles, chariots, birds and possibly a horsed prince. This is undoubtedly a scene from the life of the Buddha, however I can’t be sure exactly which scene. Age: 2nd-3rd Century. Length: 54.5cm. Height: 21.5cm.
