Circa 1910-15, French, by Robert Linzeler. Maker's mark and Minerva head hallmark for 950 fineness (French first standard). This incredibly stylish tray shows Art Deco design elements already in use in Paris before the 1920s. From the Architecture of the form to the shell motif handles it screams "let the Art Deco period begin!" Circa 1890s, Swiss hallmark, signed C. Wurth with 800 fineness stamped in several places on the silver mount. Made in a traditional mannerist form with full figural decorations and rocaille motifs. The glass cutting is among the finest we have ever seen. This piece is in remarkable condition, with light wear to the gilding being the only defect present. Glass is in near mint condition with 2 or 3 extremely tiny nicks being the only flaws found.

Circa 1920. American. Marked sterling along the spout rim. This cut glass cocktail pitcher has a fascinating "wave" to the glass. The cutting of the bird decoration is crisp. At the top portion of the applied handle where it attaches to the glass there is a small internal flaw which appears to be from manufacture. Otherwise the piece is in excellent condition.
