| A Japanese Woodblock Print by Toyokuni 3rd. 1847/48 Edo Period. 14 3/8 x 9 3/4 ins. (36.5 x 24.8 cms) From a series of actor portraits published in the late 1840s. The print is in very good condition with no damage and no repairs. There is some slight water spotting on the background of the lower portrait, the mauve colour being highly water soluble unlike the other colours. Please note this is an original printing NOT a facsimile or reprint. | |||||
