Chinese Warring States Small Bronze Bell (475 - 221 BC)
This small bronze bell was made during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It has decorative geometric patterns on both sides and was most likely originally part of a much larger set of graduated bells. There is of course some corrosion from long burial with malachite (green) over much of the surface but also some azurite (blue) to the inner surface.
Length 4 cm. Comes with a Perspex display stand.
