Japanese Enamelled Blue & White Arita Porcelain Dish - Edo Period
This porcelain dish is quite "heavily-potted" and was made during the early 19th century. The decoration comprises underglaze blue as well as green and red enamels.
Diameter 18.25 cm (7 inches). This dish has a good ring when tapped. There is a very small filled chip to the underside of the rim edge, otherwise good condition.
For information: we sold this over 30 years ago to a private collector and valued friend who has, sadly, recently passed away.
