Fine Chinese Transitional Blue & White Porcelain Jarlet

This attractive and fine quality small porcelain jar was made during the Transitional period (c. 1630 - 1660) around the end of the Ming Dynasty / beginning of the Qing Dynasty. It is quite "heavily-potted" and decorated in underglaze blue of good colour with a floral pattern. It has an iron-brown rim, to prevent "fritting" to the glaze at the rim edge during firing. Height 5 cm. It is in fine condition with no repair or restoration.
