Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl
This porcelain bowl of fine form was made during the early to mid 17th century, latter part of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). The underglaze blue decoration comprises two unusual floral scenes on opposing sides of the outer wall together with blue bands around the base. The inner surface remains undecorated. There is no repair or restoration and the bowl has a good ring when tapped. Diameter 11.5 cm (4.5 inches).
