Small Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Jar
This attractive small porcelain jar was made during the 16th century. It has a flared mouth and is coated in a thick glaze with underglaze blue decoration featuring elaborate floral patterns on opposing sides at the shoulder.
Diameter 7.75 cm (3 inches). A section of the mouth has been broken and neatly re-stuck, apparently at the place where there is a minor firing fault, and there is a crack to part of the upper body that follows the crackle of the glaze.
