Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - Dragons & Fish
This rare and interesting blue & white porcelain bowl was made during the mid to late 16th century, c.1550 - 1570. The outer wall is elaborately decorated with a pattern featuring two dragons chasing flaming pearls. The inner pattern features waves, cloud scrolls and a leaping carp.
This bowl is of a good size with a diameter of 18 cm (7 inches). This bowl has no restoration or repair and has a good ring when tapped although there is a hairline to part of the lower wall (that does not extend to the rim) and a couple of of small chips to the rim edge.
