Fine Chinese Transitional Blue & White Porcelain Bowl
This fine quality porcelain bowl was made during the Transitional period, the middle to late 17th century. It is elaborately decorated in underglaze blue, the pattern featuring flower blossoms. To the base is a mark in the form of one of the "eight treasures". The rim is coated in iron brown to prevent fritting of the glaze during manufacture.
Diameter 15 cm (6 inches). Fine condition with no repair or restoration and a good ring when tapped.
