| An exquisite and exceptionally rare 19th century monochromatic transparent ruby red enamel over solid gold vase with the impressed seal of Namikawa Sosuke. Sosuke did very few transparent enamel vases; there is an example in the Khalili Collection done in purple on a silver body with silver mounts, it lacks the brilliance of this vase.
