Modernist domed enamel bird by Madeline Turner, c.1940's, who studied the enamel process with Karl Drerup. This hand made piece is one of a series by Madeline Turner and can be made into a pin by adding a metal frame. The enamel colors are white, turquoise, dark blue, and green. Of good size, it measures 2 1/8" wide by 1 3/8" high. Unsigned and purchased from a close family friend. Condition is perfect. Turner also designed for Tiffany and Georg Jensen, USA...

Beautiful hand made sterling belt buckle by Novak, c.1970's. This post-modern arts & crafts 2-part buckle has a striking shiny finish,is hand hammered, and has granulated silver balls. It is signed "NOVAK" on each piece. Not marked sterling but guaranteed, and is part of wonderful collection. Large, it measures 3 1/4" wide by 2" high. Early sterling bolo with Mayan design on a brown leather braided thong with the fabulous cactus-design ends, Mexico, c.1942. Hand made of heavy gauge silver, the bolo(1 1/8" long by 1 1/4" wide) shows a framed Mayan figure with a recessed oxydized background highlighting the figure. The two ends are silver cactii(each 1 3/8" long)...

Very large and heavy gauge 950 silver with brass accents buckle, probably from Japan, c.1970's. It is signed "T 950" and measures 2 3/4" by 2 3/4" by 1/8" thick. Extremely heavy, it weighs 120 grams or 4 troy oz. Probably Japanese because the 950 silver content is used there. Hand hammered with brass applied corners, it really makes a major statement. Glorious large handmade modernist silver and enamel pin showing three fish swimming. The greatness of this pin is the overlapping of the fish as well as the silver and the enamel. Made of very heavy gauge silver and of good size, it measures almost 3" by 1 3/4". The enamel colors are: turquoise(water), light brown/black/red(fish#1), yellow/brown(fish#2), and green/white(fish#3). Top is raised in best Kramer style with 4 tubes of silver and stone is set in darkened silver inset background(photo #1 is lighter than actual background).
