Unusual and lovely signed early 1960's amethysts, silver, and enamel butterfly necklace. Beautiful golden brown, white, yellow,& turquoise blue enamel butterfly with 2 oval cabochon amethysts on a light blue enamel background. This is constructed on heavy gauge silver and the back is royal blue, golden brown and black enamel. The scalloped silver sides provide a frame for the work and it measures a generous 1 7/8" in diameter. The piece is signed "V" in a circle. The period heavy gauge silver chain(without an opening) measures 30" long. Just a lovely work of art....$9 USA insured shipping plus applicable NY tax.
