A beautiful Tang dynasty sancai glazed bowl made in Tongguan county, Changsha city, Hunan province of China mainly for export. This everted rim bowl is decorated in brown and green under a yellow ash glaze, with a lotus flower motif in the centre and brown areas on the rim; unglazed base. PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 5.5 cm tall, 15 cm wide. CONDITION: very good glaze, no chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.
