(c1650)Leviticus Scroll This is a very large and rare [MANUSCRIPT] undated Bible Scroll, from the book of Leviticus found by locals in an attic what used to be a synagogue in Morocco during the 16th to 17th century, along with other judaica items. The scroll is Hand written and well preserved on soft Golden brown Deer parchment (Gvil) in the original Hebrew Script. According to it writing its from the 1600s. Scrolls on deer parchment are no longer made and the process of these scrolls have been lost over the centuries. The parchment holds its ink well and the letters remain black. Panes are tightly sewn together with natural animal string. The scroll is approx. 22 inches in height x 5 feet long. This is an opportunity to own a genuine piece of history as a family heirloom and a stunning display item for your home.
