| This is a beautifully hand carved shell cameo in the desirable dark brown and white colors. It is expertly carved with details throughout and mounted in an 18K gold framed pin/pendant. The scene is a mythological one with a cherub playing a flute for a goddess, with an urn, sitting under a tree. Even the cherub's wings, grasses and tree trunk are highly defined. It measures 2 1/16 by 1 1/2 inches. It is signed with the artist's mark on the back of the shell itself, which usually is indicative of high quality cameos. | ||
