French Art Deco shaker designed to house a set-of-eight cocktail drinking tumbler cups. An Art Deco ribbed pattern enhances the shaker as well as complimenting tumblers. A rare example of one of the most coveted "Cock"-Tail Shakers - Behold the Wallace Bros. Rooster. Standing at 14 1/2" tall the dashing rooster has a hammered body topped off by a wavy comb and scrolling tail feather handle. The tongue unscrews to reveal a pouring spout. Made in Wallingford, Connecticut circa 1928. Firm's marks beneath. An example of this shaker is in the collection of The Dallas Museum of Art.

Modernist Art Deco platter or tray designed by Carl Conrad Braun for the International Silver Co. of Connecticut circa 1940. From a group of designs by Braun known as the Tropical Line. The designs evoked Scandinavian influence or incorporated tropical forms. The tray's central concave stepped design frames the figure of a draped woman upholding a tray of fruit. Quite spectacular! British cocktail shaker with beautiful Moire pattern engine turned wide bands about the surface. The interior houses a citrus reamer to create the perfect cocktail recipe.
