| Fine Art Nouveau! Gilded pewter champagne goblet made by the Orivit workshop in Cologne circa 1904. The naturalistic stem rises upward to a berried tri-branch holder which supports a crystal glass. The Amethyst crystal is cut in an undulating wave pattern. Orivit collaborated with Val St. Lambert to produce many of its crystal elements for use with Art Nouveau mounts. A similar example pictured in the publication 'Orivit', page 125. The well regarded workshop was founded by Wilhelm Ferdinand and Hubert Schmitz in Koln-Ehrenfeld in 1894. Impressed beneath "Orivit" 2549. Dimensions: 5 1/4" H. | ||||||
