One tiny chip to one strut. The jointed leg elements are all manufactured without glue and in good order.

A rare famille verte lobed teabowl and saucer brilliantly enamelled with birds and butterflies in a garden. Diameter of saucer: 13.6 cm.; teabowl: 8.6 cm. Kangxi (1662-1722).

3 cm. hairline to saucer at 1.00. No other damage.

The enamelling on the bowl is very bright and the blue on the saucer particularly successful. The blue bird in flight on the saucer suggests the influence of Kakiemon.

A Dehua figure group of Guanyin and child seated on rocks with a book nearby. Traces of cold-enamelling in the recesses of her eyes. Height: 26.5 cm. Kangxi (1662-1722).

Chips to ends of fingers and missing foot to the child. Typical firing flaws to reverse of cowl. No other damage.

The figure is modelled on Western images of the Madonna and Child.

An unusual small Chinese export octagonal platter decorated in underglaze blue and famille rose enamels with a lady punting, a leaping fish and in the background a castellated wharf with a mosque. Length: 26.2 cm. Qianlong, c. 1780.

Rim chip at lower right. No other faults.

Such mosques are said to be typical of the Coromandel coast of India.
