A pair of Chinese export blue and white dishes of lotus form with birds confronting on a floral ground within a similar border, probably related to a Persian design. Diameter: 17 cm. Kangxi (1662-1722).
One with a small chip to one lobe of the rim at 2.00 and a short hairline. The other perfect.
A Japanese woodblock print of the Dainan Gate, Mukden by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950). Signed in pencil at lower left. Jizuri seal in left margin. Framed and glazed. Image area: 26 x 39 cm. With frame: 36 x 49 cm.
Slight cockling to print. No damage or staining. In excellent condition- as is the frame.
An attractive Fukagawa Imari bowl, the interior enamelled with panels of birds, bamboo and iris on a prunus ground, the reverse with sprays of prunus. Underglaze blue Fukagawa mark to the base. Diameter: 9 5/8 in. Early 20th cent.
