A Chinese porcelain trapezoidal dish from a supper set, decorated in underglaze blue with a lotus design within a green enamel diaper border. Max. width: 17.5 cm. Shunzhi/Kangxi c. 1660-70.

Enamel flake to rim, fritting to reverse. No other faults.

A Chinese famille rose teapot decorated with a flower basket and blossom within rococo reserves. Height: 12.5 cm. Qianlong (1735-95).

Probably associated lid, though a good match. At one point a strainer was mounted on the interior and the mounts are still visible on the exterior on either side of the spout with some enamel loss in this area. No other damage

A cut down Chinese porcelain rouleau vase,incised under the glaze and attractively decorated in Holland in enamels with a lady in a pavilion surrounded by birds and flowers. The porcelain Kangxi, the decoration 18th cent. Height: 22.3cm.

Neck cut down, 0.5cm. hairline crack at the neck (see detail). Some spotted discolouration under the glaze.

A spinach jade vase and cover carved with an archaistic phoenix supporting a baluster jar with ring handles (one missing). Height (excl. stand): 14.5 cm. 19th cent.

The vase has a fitted stand. One handle and its associated ring have been broken off. No other damage.

Sold 

An interesting Chinese bronze fangding damascened in silver with an allover swastika diaper pattern within a leiwen and spiral geometric border, the base inlaid with a four-character hallmark. Qianlong (1736-95). Height: 17 cm.; length: 14.9cm.

Scratching to base. The legs of the fangding are probably later replacements, solidly mounted, three out of four being inlaid with silver wire. No other damage.

A Straits Chinese porcelain kamcheng enamelled with a floral pattern on a brown ground. Mark: tong qi xing zao. Height: 16.5 cm.; diameter; 16.0cm. c. 1900.

The lid replaced. Small filled chip to rim and enamel flake on one flowerhead. No other faults.

A humorous Buddhist scrolldepicting a lady in Chinese dress (allegedly Xi Wang Mu)adoring a multi-armed divinity. Signed with a seal and inscription. Total dimensions: 1000cm.x 32.2cm. c. 1900.

The scroll is parting on the right-hand side from its suspension bar, with other damages, stains and creases as shown.
