A Chinese porcelain vase of ovoid form with flaring mouth decorated in underglaze blue and copper red with a free design of parrots, grasses, hawthorn and other shrubs, inscribed to the reverse with a cyclical date equivalent to 1999. Jingdezhen mark to base. Height: 31.8 cm.
A woodblock print of a Japanese boy by the sosaku hanga artist Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997) mounted in a plain wood frame. Signed in pencil and with red seal in lower right quadrant. Dimensions: 30 x 44.5 cm. framed.
The print remains in excellent undamaged condition and has never been out of its frame.
