A large lacquer and shibayama display dish decorated with two ladies and a boy pushing a flower cart on a gold lacquer ground within a floral border, the lacquer inlaid with bone, ivory and mother-of pearl. Diameter: 55 cm. 19th century. The charger is in generally excellent condition without chips or inlay loss. Slight wear and cracking to the lacquer ground in some areas. |
