A good quality portrait miniature on ivory of a young lady wearing a loose white dress and bandeau. Monogram (PR?) to the right of her left shoulder. Dimensions of miniature: 3 in high (4 ½ in. incl. frame). c. late 19th cent., poss. after Andrew Plimer. Immaculate condition. The frame had once a support at the back which has long since gone. |
