An unusual zoomorphic Indian brass pandan cast in the form of a peacock, with a hinged reticulated heart-shaped body. Height: 7 in; length: 7 in. 18th cent.

Excellent condition. A couple of minor lead fills to the base (exterior only) where the casting failed.
