Rare Chinese quarter-lobed porcelain tray finely decorated on the interior with famille rose enamels to portray flowering branches and finished on the edges with a continuous rose geometric border highlighted with flower heads. Dates to the Yongzheng/early Qianlong period. Approximately 7-1/2 inches across the largest spance.

Condition: Very good with only minor wear to the enamels.

Colorful kesi panel showing four front-facing five-clawed dragons among clouds, bats and buddhist emblems around a pieced center medallion with a side-facing dragon; all on a brown field. Probably constructed for use as a table cover from fabric originally intended for a robe. Bordered with an embroidered white silk fabric and backed by yellow gauze or linen. Dates to the mid-19th C.

Size: Approximately 44 x 46 inches.

Condition: Color remains vibrant. There are a few areas of separation, especially where the fabric has been folded for storage, and some small tears. Additional close-up photos can be provided upon request to serious potential buyers.

Exceptional pair of embroidered Chinese lotus shoes dating to the late Qing Dynasty. High-quality construction and fine embroidery on the apricot silk shoe body, white silk covering the heels, and yellow sashes that extend over the back of the shoes. Embellished with nicely contrasting blue silk borders and green textured silk lining.

Provenance: Purchased from a Chinese lady who moved to the United States with her husband, who had been stationed in Asia during the Korean war.

Condition: Very good condition with little wear to embroidery or silk. Some uneven fading of the apricot-ground color.
