Splendid color and ink on horizontal paper scroll, Measuring 24 feet long and 12 inches wide, the paintings take up about 80 inches on this massive scroll. The original Song dynasty colt paintings by (Song) Chao Yuen Chong are in a museum in Tokyo. One brief part of the calligraphy comprising the title of the scroll is "signed" by Song calligrapher Gao Yi from Zhou Jun with a palace seal, and in the calligraphy portion, there is also a reference to the Ming emperor Jiajing...
