Okay, if you are a skier, skiing enthusiast, or know one, this is for you! I am not sure these are still being produced even… but here is a vintage c. 70's-80's Tiffany & Co. Sterling Money Clip in the form of a pair of Skis. This clip measures just shy of 2” H x 3/4” W. It weighs 15.3 dwt. of Sterling Silver and feels easy in the hand - so very understated! Not sure you can tell in the pics that the skis have a subtle brush or matte finish while the rest of the piece is smooth...

Purchased from a New England estate recently… At first I thought this brooch was done with feathers but with a loupe it is clearly cloisonné enamel. Likely from 40’s -60’s this pin is so colorful and detailed. Done on silver with a gold vermeil wash over it, this pin is in fine vintage condition with only a tiny tiny bit of enamel loss, not noticeable at all unless looking with magnification. Bird measures 2 1/2" W x 1” H and has a nice tight clasp on the back...

Super Mod Tie Bar by Christoffersen for International Sterling Co. c. 1950’s. Atomic dimensional explosions contained in a circular disk joined to a tapered bar of sterling silver! Bar measures 2 ¾” L x 3/8” W. Circular disk measures ¾” in diameter. (Silver clip return in back of bar 1 5/8” W.) Nice weight 12.9 dwt. sterling silver. Condition is excellent but this one needs a serious polish which I will leave to the next owner’s discretion...

So here is one of those wonderful pieces, recently acquired at a New England estate….It has great hand dappling, super weight, unusual look and design with a hallmark, but I unfortunately do not know the maker. I would love to know if anyone out there does, please email…. So different and slightly elliptical this substantial mid century bangle weighs 26.6 dwt. of sterling silver. It is solid and not flexible at all...

Beautiful Jadeite and 14K Yellow Gold Hinged Bangle from a Local New England Estate. Jadeite has soft shades of greens- light pale and moss green mainly, with some brownish inclusions here and there. Connecting the jade are two 14K chased bands. They appear seamless, but one is actually the hinge and the other the tight tongue and groove clasp with safety chain all done in 14K Gold. The bangle is a small size and has an inside measurement diameter of 2 1/8” across...

This line always reminds me of outer space. It is quite difficult to find in general but almost impossible to find the earrings and pin together. Such organic fun and freedom in design with contrasting silver oxidation in background and sizes of balls.(I would have loved to have been in the room when this line was discussed!) Pin measures 2” W x 1 1/8” H and earrings with orig. screw tops measure 1 5/8” H x ½ ” W...

Fantastic Lapis & Silver necklace created by one of Taxco’s master silversmith’s, Antonio Pineda, c. 1950’s. Always pushing the envelope in construction, creativity, innovation and quality, this designer had it all going on. It is no wonder his work is so highly sought after. This design is quite rare and is actually photographed on page 140, no.170 in Silver Seduction; The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda, done in 2008. The necklace shown is with light green Adventurine stones and ...

Fine Mid Century Modern Sculptural pin by Sigi Pineda of Taxco, Mexico c. 1950's. Pin measures 2 1/4" W x 1 1/4" H. Great design with wrapped stone as central focus of the design. Sigi's work has a sense of futuristic, aquatic whimsy. I find as you turn a piece from side to side, looking at different points of view, your imagination takes over... (It is a joi de vivre thing , I think.) Hallmarked appropriately on the reverse: SIGI, TASCO, Eagle mark 36, design # 84, HECHO EN MEXICO, STERLING. Ex...

Fine understated ring c. 1960's by Danish designer Arne Johansen- one of Denmark's most innovative designers! This is not a flashy ring. It doesn't move or have massive scale or color as some of the work from this same period and region does, but that's what I love about it. Johansen's work is very sculptural. Industrial, architectural even. The line is very important from all angles. The silver of this ring flows seamlessly into the cool deep blue of the Lapis Lazuli Stone. Specks of silver and...

Killer 1962 David Andersen "Mondrian" Enamel by great grand daughter Uni Andersen for the David Andersen Firm, Norway. This pin is very rare. I have only had this pin one other time in a blue/green palette. It reminds me of the artist Mondrian's work. (Though his emphasis was on primary colors and these are more earth tones the influence can not be over looked.) Works by Uni Andersen and others from this mid century period always amaze me as being so ahead of their time. This pin was done a half...
